i haven't seen the barbaras play in so long and i love that i will see them play tonight.
i have been to 3 christmas parties this week and thats more than i have ever been to in my whole life. caitlin decided to have another one on tuesday night.

the spirit of christmas is slowly dying and its so sad.
for me, the concept of receiving presents seems a bit depressing this year because i can't give back to others a whole lot. i did feel good about giving $1 to a frigid, fragile bum the other day when i only had $4 to last me the next 3 days, so that felt nice.

1. oxford-clarksdale-back to memphis
what is there to do?
- visit william faulkner's house? (even though im not a huge fan)
- THE MAWFUDGIN CROSSROADS while singing old blues and bonethugs
- sell my soul to satan?
- cracker barrel
or
2. brownsville-jackson-back to memphis
what is there to do?
- look at a large piece of metal artistically and precisely structured with trash and old signs
- visit 'that old man that lives in that shack and lets you come take a tour because he plays blues music'
- cracker barrel

and/or
ATL for new years?
i need to get on that.
