welcome to america: fuji instax

this product is in its beginning stages of being mass marketed in america.
its already taken over in many other parts of the world.
because polaroids are becoming extinct within a probable next couple of months, this could either be a good thing or a bad thing.
these cameras cost anywhere from $120-$150 in the u.s. and the film is reasonable (compared to polaroid film in the now), 20 photos for $30-$35.
one catch: the photos are smaller in comparison. they are approximately 2.5 x 3.5 by my understanding.
i can't wait to see the transition.

i'm not even sure if this is the new "polaroid"... i'm only betting.
the film is skinnier and narrower in width and can be used a lot easier with catching vertical photos than a polaroid, pret-tee schnazzy. i'm just not sure how i feel about not having that precious perfect square around anymore.
