Holga D

Lately, I have found myself being concerned with the rate at which technology is taking over. Everything from the way hospitals to shopping centers are being run to out of date physical objects and the "old school" way of doing things makes me frustrated. I like to consider myself old fashioned. Not because it can be considered "hip" but because some things humans do today are highly unnecessary. Convenient, but unnecessary. I like to explore previous methods to handling situations before technology progressed and shoved the original aside and behind. With that general way of thinking, I have always appreciated film photography, washing dishes without a dishwasher, and layering blankets in the winter. I came across this Holga D camera and to be completely honest, my first instinct was excitement. I thoroughly admire and adore film technique and experimentation, but sometimes digital really is neat. This is a special case and I really like from the way it has been marketed this far. I just hope film won't be extinct after this is mass produced...
