Some things i kept were a brand new green columbia hoodie, a clean full length mirror, cans of pepsi, a clear waterproof backpack for summertime bike riding, crackers, unopened potato chips, and a new duffle bag.
Some things we all found and kept were (everything listed above) plus a hooters calendar, 3 other nice hoodies, 2 new pairs of men's shoes, 1 pair of cute sandals, countless numbers of food items such as cereal, potato chips, and goldfish, epoxy, a flashlight, a stereo, stereo speakers, a microwave, a large living room decorative lamp that works, an alarm clock, a large piece of useful particle board, a planner, a dry erase board, another clear waterproof backpack for jenna, clean pots and pans for camping trips, 2 crates, ironing boards, mattresses that we didn't take, frozen foods, jenna's new striped sweater, countless movies on vhs, some on dvd, SO MUCH LAUNDRY DETERGENT, a pillow with a pillow case, awesome rugs, blankets, a quilt... and so much more!
STOP THE WASTEFULNESS! IT WAS SO SAD TO SEE ALL OF THIS LINGERING IN GARBAGE BINS.
We were excited to have an experience like this though and be able to keep some things we need.
In that essence, we will be happy to keep taking it off your hands.
If anything, just take your unwanted goods to goodwill. In MTSU's case, there was literally a goodwill less than 3 miles away.
Here's Jenna's blog entry about the experience! with photos!
