today, my godfather found me on facebook. this makes me really happy. i have only kept in touch with him via letters few and far between since i was born. i have only met him once when i was little and i don't remember him very well. i do have a lot of pictures of him. i don't know if i'm related to him or not; my grandmother appointed him as my godfather with the catholic church when i was born i guess and ever since then, he has kept in touch as much as possible. last i heard, he runs a newspaper in virginia and his wife is a graphic designer. this is so neat to me, i guess that kind of thing runs in... "the family", or as my italian kin would say, the "famiglia."
