today, as most days, i found myself engaged by the national geographic channel. Lakshmi Tatma was born with four arms and four legs, but also carries a rare parasitic conjoined twin that could kill her.in the show, the main focus besides insight into her life was mainly about the decision to amputate. because of the hindu culture and many people believing she is the reincarnation of goddess lakshmi, it is risky. she has been nicknamed "octoddler" by a couple of resources.
I watched Nat Geo all week! Luckily I caught this show too. Sooo interesting.
